Oceanic Team has created a new specialized reel which is addressed to the friends of the Eging technique, having all those gifts that we need in fishing for squid and cuttlefish. A basic and necessary feature that we need in Eging is the smooth and light operation of the mechanism so that we immediately feel only the resistance from our squid, without any additional resistance.The EGIDO LT2508HS has this smooth operation which is achieved thanks to its excellent design and the fact that the crank screws directly onto the body, giving an immediate response of its movement. One point that is stressed the most by the jerks in eging is the roller and also the entire bail arm. Egido reel has been reinforced with two (!) bearings on the roller, stiff and strong wire on the bail arm and finally with a very tight and strong bail movement spring that withstands all the stresses of sharp and violent jerks.
